The Patti territory, on the tirrenic coast of Sicily, is placed in the middle of the ample bay of Patti, laying from Milazzo cape to Calavà cape, and it looks at the splendid chain of the Eolian Islands.

Behind Patti withdrawing from the coast, there are the municipalities of Montagnareale, Librizzi, S.Piero Patti, Raccuia, Ucria, Floresta and S. Domenica Vittoria which arrive to the upper part of the Nebrodi mountains, and which have in Patti itself their natural way to the sea, to the railway and motorway networks, as well as to the main administrative and service systems, such as law courts, hospital, high schools, diocese, a.s.o.

The local economy is based on a still important agricolture, on manufacturing industries, mainly ceramic and holiday boats, and on developing turistic activities, such as the sea side, the cultural aspect, mainly represented by the ancient greek town of Tindarys, and finally the religious turism, based on the sanctuary of the Madonna del Tindari.
